HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OF A TRAVEL PASS

1. RAIL TRANSPORT

• Refund: The ticket is not refundable for facts not attributable to the Ferrovie del Gargano or for cancellation of the trip by the passenger. No refunds are made and no duplicates or proofs of payment are issued for passes declared lost, destroyed or stolen.
• Reimbursement and compensation for delays: As governed by EC Regulation no. 1371/2007, as indicated in the Service Charter, the request can be made:
  • By filling out the appropriate form on the website;
  • By sending an email to def@fergargano.it;
  • By ordinary mail to Ferrovie del Gargano - Operations Management - Via San Severo n. 96 - 71121 Foggia.

2. REGIONAL AND LOCAL BUS LINES TRANSPORT

• Refund: The ticket is not refundable for facts not attributable to the Ferrovie del Gargano or for cancellation of the trip by the passenger. No refunds are made and no duplicates or proofs of payment are issued for passes declared lost, destroyed or stolen.
• For failure to make the trip due to facts attributable to Ferrovie del Gargano, the written request for reimbursement or replacement, accompanied by the original travel document, as indicated in the Service Charter:
  • By sending an email to dar@fergargano.it;
  • By ordinary mail to Ferrovie del Gargano - Operations Management - Via San Severo n. 96 - 71121 Foggia.

3. INTERREGIONAL AND NATIONAL TRANSPORT

• Reimbursement: for cancellation of the passenger's trip, it is allowed on condition that the request is presented at least two hours before the scheduled departure:
  • At the resale that issued the ticket, during the opening hours to the public, with a cash refund minus a penalty that also takes into account the tariff recalculation.
  • With the release of a bonus or re-credit on the purse of the registered customer, without penalty, attaching a copy of the unused travel document and a copy of the id document:
    1. By sending an email to dar@fergargano.it;
    2. By ordinary mail to Ferrovie del Gargano - Management Office - Via San Severo n. 96 - 71121 Foggia.
• Refunds and indemnities: for reasons attributable to Ferrovie del Gargano, in the cases governed by EU Regulation no. 181/2011 and as indicated in the Service Charter:
  • By sending an email to dar@fergargano.it;
  • By ordinary mail to Ferrovie del Gargano - Management Office - Via San Severo n. 96 - 71121 Foggia.

All requests must necessarily be accompanied, under penalty of forfeiture, by a copy of the travel document and the applicant's identification document.

Any request submitted in a different manner from those listed above will not be handled and, therefore, will not give the right to any refund.
