We would like to inform our customers that, for 20 JUNE 2025, the national secretariats of CUB TRASPORTI and USB Lavoro Privato have proclaimed a strike lasting 24 hours. The strike is called:
- against the genocide in Palestine, the supply of weapons to Israel and the lack of concrete action to dissociate ourselves from the horrible crimes perpetrated by the Government of Israel …
- against war, the war economy and the increase in military spending …
- against exploitation at work, precariousness and the containment of wages both in the renewal of public and private sector contracts …
- against the absence of social policies and starting with the housing emergency and lack of development plans for public housing, for a serious reform of social safety nets
- against the absence of industrial policies capable of addressing the ongoing transitions and overcoming the phase of conflict …
- against the authoritarian choice in terms of laws repressing dissent and social conflict, starting with the new security decree that introduces numerous new crimes and the increase in penalties to prevent the development of social protest
- against deaths at work – for the protection of workers' health and safety in the workplace
- against the “Sbarra” law with which the Government, hastily approving what was proposed by the CISL, attempts to pass on the business risk to workers with serious consequences on wages and working conditions.
This abstention, if not revoked, could lead to delays or cancellations of rail and bus services in the following time slots:
• RAIL AND AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES (GARGANO NORTH)
FROM 0:00 TO 5:29, FROM 8:31 TO 17:29 AND FROM 20:31 TO 24:00.
• REGIONAL AND PROVINCIAL AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES

It is also reported that for the current year, the strikes called by the same organizations have been joined by an average of 6.67% of the staff.
However, it should be noted that:
• the strike is a constitutionally guaranteed individual right, even if exercised collectively, and that there is no obligation for the worker to declare in advance his/her abstention from work;
• the worker can join any protest even if he/she is not a member of the trade union organization that has proclaimed or joined the strike.
