The Apulian Business Transport Consortium, with a view to growth and technological innovation of ticketing systems, has introduced, in replacement of the paper identification card, the electronic card called myCard as a multifunctional and prospective support for the purchase and management of travel tickets.

This card, in fact, in addition to acting as an identification document in credit card format for the purchase of season tickets, is designed for the electronic accreditation of travel tickets, already being tested within the consortium.

For these reasons, as already communicated in the Service Charter 2024 edition, with effect from 1 December 2024, the green identification cards currently issued by participating ticket offices will no longer be issued in paper format, while those already issued will no longer be valid. and must necessarily be converted into electronic format.

Starting from that date, in fact, all interested customers will have to register on the website https://mycard.cotrap.eu or by scanning the "QR code" by entering their personal data and attaching the requested documents.

The cost for issuing the new electronic card will be €10.00 (ten/00 euros) and its validity will be 5 years. For all holders of a paper card, valid on the date of entry into force of that my Card, the issuing cost will be €8.00 (eight/00 euros).

Payment for the new card will be made, at the end of the registration procedure, directly by the customer, using electronic payment systems on enabled circuits.

After accessing the address https://mycard.cotrap.eu, you will need to indicate the reference carrier (in this case Ferrovie del Gargano) and, immediately afterwards, choose:

    electronic card, in the case of first issue or renewal of an expired paper card;

    electronic card to replace a paper card, only in the case of replacement of a valid card;

    after completing each field of the form and having uploaded all the necessary documents requested, payment will be made;

    the system will process a provisional receipt (lasting a maximum of two months) which can be used in resale to purchase the weekly or monthly season ticket, pending receipt of the card in electronic format directly to the indicated address;

    during on-board checks, if the card has not yet been received, it will be necessary to show an identity document, in addition to the travel document and the temporary purchase receipt.
