We would like to inform that, for January 24, 2024, the national secretariats of “USB Lavoro Privato and CUB TRASPORTI” have proclaimed a strike of road and tram drivers lasting 24 hours.

The aforementioned strike proclamation is in support of:

• Salary increase of 300.00 euros;

• Reduction of working hours from 39 to 35 hours per week, with the same salary and reduction of driving time and working hours for drivers;

• Adaptation of safety and health protections in the workplace, as well as for users of the TPL service;

• Blocking of privatizations and related tenders for LPT.

This abstention, if not revoked, may lead to delays or cancellations of rail and car services in the following time slots:

• RAILWAY AND AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES (GARGANO NORTH)

FROM 0.00 TO 5.04, FROM 8.06 TO 12.29 AND FROM 3.31 TO 12.00.

• REGIONAL AND PROVINCIAL AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES

FROM 0.00 AM TO 5.29 AM, FROM 8.31 AM TO 12.29 PM AND FROM 3.31 PM TO 12.00 AM.

• URBAN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SAN SEVERO AND MANFREDONIA

FROM 0.00 TO 5.04, FROM 8.06 TO 12.29 AND FROM 3.31 TO 12.00.

We also inform you that for the year 2023, an average of 1.61% of staff joined the strikes called by the same organisations.

However, it should be borne in mind that:

• the strike constitutes a constitutionally guaranteed individual right, even if exercised collectively, and that there is no obligation for the worker to declare in advance his abstention from work;

• the worker can join any protest even if he is not a member of the trade union organization that proclaimed or joined the strike.
