This was announced by the regional councilor Giovanni Giannini, pointing out that our company has not registered any inefficiencies or inactivity such as to be sanctioned from an economic point of view. A recognition that we share with all our managers and operators who work for our travelers every day.

STILL ABOUT RAILWAY TRANSPORTATION QUALITY SERVICE

Following proven disruptions in railway transport, the Region notified the concessionary companies the application of financial penalties to the rail transport companies for non-compliance with the regularity and punctuality of the service, changes to the operating program and for cleaning and decorum trains, stations and stops for the year 2017.

The Transport Councilor Giovanni Giannini states that "These are normal contractual procedures applied even in the case of fewer journeys made by companies. The penalties, considered as an integral part of the calculation of the annual compensation paid to the companies and retained during the disbursement of the same pursuant to art. 31, c. 3 of the regional law n. 18/2002, are determined on the basis of the inspections carried out by the Supervisory Section and by the summary statement of the distances carried out that the Companies themselves certify to the Region ".

Specifically, a recovery of approximately € 82.000 will be applied to the Railway Company for non-completed journeys, to the Appulo Lucane Railways about € 30.000 for strikes, to the South East Railways the maximum contractual penalty of about € 6.700.000 plus 400.000 for minor journeys due to strikes, while no recovery will be applied to Trenitalia and Ferrovie del Gargano.

For 2018 we expect data that the concessionary companies of the service will have to send to the Region by March 2019, to which will be added the results of the checks carried out during the year by the security service.
