Customers are hereby informed that the national secretariats of CUB TRASPORTI and USB Lavoro Privato have called a 24-hour strike for November 28, 2025. The strike is called:
• for the recognition of the State of Palestine;
• for a freeze on military spending and the shipment of weapons to Ukraine and Palestine, and for economic investments in schools, public healthcare, transportation, and for the guarantee of a guaranteed wage and the restoration of basic income;
• for investments in public and universal healthcare, public schools and universities, public transportation, welfare, and occupational health and safety;
• for wage and pension increases that will allow for the recovery of purchasing power over the last 20 years;
• for the relaunch of a new structural plan for public housing;
• for the adoption of a new energy policy to protect the environment;
• against the complicity of the Italian government and the EU in the genocide of the Palestinian people;
• against the war economy and war;
• against the 2026 Budget Law;
• against privatization and the system of contracts/subcontracts.
This suspension, if not revoked, may result in delays or cancellations of rail and bus services during the following time slots:
• RAIL AND BUS SERVICES (GARGANO NORTH) FROM 0:00 TO 5:04, FROM 8:06 TO 12:29, AND FROM 15:31 TO 24:00.
• REGIONAL AND PROVINCIAL BUS SERVICES FROM 0:00 TO 5:29, FROM 8:31 TO 12:29, AND FROM 15:31 TO 24:00.
• URBAN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN SEVERO AND MANFREDONI FROM 0:00 AM TO 5:04 AM, FROM 8:06 AM TO 12:29 PM, AND FROM 3:31 PM TO 12:00 AM.
Furthermore, it is reported that for the current year, an average of 3.8% of the workforce participated in strikes called by these organizations.
However, it should be noted that workers may participate in any protest even if they are not members of the union that called or joined the strike. Strikes are a constitutionally guaranteed individual right, even if exercised collectively, and workers are not required to declare their absence from work in advance.
