Users are released:
1. Simple travel tickets, valid for one trip;
2. Weekly passes, valid from Monday to Sunday;
3. Monthly passes, valid from the 1st to the last day of the calendar month;
4. Simple travel tickets and passes for the special categories of users listed in art. 30 of the Regional Law 18/2002.
Tickets and passes must be purchased at one of the authorized stores. They can also be purchased online on this website. Purchases of passes are allowed with a valid identity document in compliance with all legal purposes. The pass is valid if accompanied by the identification card whose details are shown on it. Customers are required to authenticate the tickets as soon as they climb on board the vehicles. Any faults in the validation devices of the tickets must be reported to the crew. Tickets, passes and any other travel documents must be presented at the request of the company's employees appointed of the control or of the supervisory or control body. On board the vehicles the purchase of the ticket is allowed with the increase of the price in the measure of € 1.00. For purchase, the interested parties must contact the staff in service.
Without prejudice to the rules set out in the D.P.R. 735/80, the pecuniary administrative sanction for customers found without a valid travel document or travel document not regularly validated or inadequate, is established according to the provisions of the Regional Law in force concerning transports. The non-compliance by customers of the rules contained in the vehicle company regulations involves the application of administrative fines as established by the Regional Law in force on transports field.
Sanctions to users of TPL transport services
Transportation of children
The customer with a regular travel ticket has the right to travel with a child between 0 and 10 years of age free of charge. Anyone accompanying more than one child between the ages of 0 and 10 must purchase a ticket for every two children. It is allowed to transport baby strollers for free as long as they are folded in such a way as to reduce their encumbrance.
Transport of animals
Passengers may bring small cats or small dogs with them, after having purchased a suitable travel document, transported in such a way that they do not cause disturbance or nuisance to other passengers, in the appropriate carriers. Guide dogs for the blind can travel free of charge.
Simple travel tickets and passes are issued for the special categories of users, following art. 30 of the Regional Law n. 18 of 31.10.2002. For the issue, customers must obtain a special free identification card issued by the offices of the Ferrovie del Gargano upon presentation of a specific application accompanied by two passport-sized photographs and certification certifying that they belong to the categories required by law. The issue of free travel tickets takes place until all the regional economic compensation foreseen is depleted.
The ticket is not refundable for facts not attributable to the Railways. No reimbursements are made and no duplicates are issued for passes declared lost, destroyed or stolen. For failed execution of the trip due to facts attributable to the Railways, the customer must send a written request for reimbursement or replacement accompanied by the original travel document no later than 30 days from the occurrence of the event.
Transportation of things - Lost items
The passenger can carry only one piece of baggage free of charge provided that it does not exceed the dimensions of 25x30x50 cm and weighs no more than Kg. 20. In all other cases it is required to purchase a ticket for each piece of baggage. However, it is not permitted to transport liquids, precious, fragile and / or excessively bulky or dangerous objects. The company is not responsible for theft, tampering, leakage, deterioration or loss of the objects carried. The lost items found on board the company vehicles will be kept in accordance with articles 927 and ss. of the Civil Code. For everything not expressly referred to, reference is made to the D.P.R. 753/80.
